Who we are
Weddit is a free wedding marketplace for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Couples: you can browse without an account. If you sign in, we collect your phone number or email for one-time-password login.
- Vendors: the business details you choose to publish — name, contact, category, description, location, pricing and photos.
- Enquiries: when you request a quote, the name, phone number and message you provide are shared with that vendor.
- Reviews: your rating and comment, shown publicly with your name.
- On your device: your saved-vendor shortlist and planning-tool data are stored in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers, unless you are signed in.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: show listings, connect couples with vendors, send login codes, display reviews, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted infrastructure providers to operate Weddit, including Supabase (database, authentication and image storage) and Vercel (hosting). SMS or email codes for login are sent via their respective providers. These process data on our behalf.
Sharing
Enquiry details are shared with the vendor you contact. Public listing and review content is visible to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your vendor listing from your dashboard, clear your saved shortlist from your browser, and contact us to delete your account. Reach us at nagarajukharra123@gmail.com.
